Easy Collagen Vanilla Chai Oatmeal Bowl

This is like the anti-aging, good for you oatmeal bowl and can you guess what the secret ingredient is? Well it's found in the heading ;)


This is an easy collagen recipe and can be readyin just under 15 minutes.

As one of my favorite trusted and sustainably sourced brands, I added 1 heaping scoop of Truvani Wild Caught Marine Collagen

Why Truvani Collagen?

This collagen consists of: Collagen Type 1, which comes from wild-caught fish from the waters surrounding Iceland as well as the North Sea, the Norwegian Sea, and other cold, Northern waters. Collagen Type 2 comes from wild-caught fish off the coast of France. This helps with vibrant skin and elasticity and hydration for the skin and hair. It also supports healthy bones, joints brittle fingernails and lean muscle.

Vanilla Chai Collagen Oatmeal Bowl Recipe


  • 2 cups coconut milk
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp tsp ginger
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1/2 cup organic steel cut oats
  • 1 scoop Truvani Wild Caught Marine Collage (see note above for my link )
  1. Place all of the ingredients except oats and collagen in a pot over medium heat and bring to a boil.

  2. Then add the oats and cover and simmer on low for 20 minutes or until liquid has evaporated.

  3. Take off the heat and stir in the collagen and salt.

  4. Serve with your favorite toppings and seasonal fruit!
